Tyler Cameron Calls Out "Golden Bachelor" Duo for Tarnishing Bachelor Romance
Former Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron has minced no words in expressing his views on Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, the inaugural Golden Bachelor duo whose recent split has rocked the Bachelor community.
During a candid interview on SiriusXM’s The Happy Hour, Cameron, known for his recent stint on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, didn't hold back. "They have truly tainted the essence of love within the Bachelor universe," he declared. "Three months? They make all my relationships seem like eternity. Honestly, I could give them a crash course in dating."
Reflecting on the buzz surrounding the unique Bachelor edition featuring mature contestants vying for Turner's affection, Cameron lamented, "It injected so much vitality into the Bachelor franchise, only for them to abruptly pull the rug from under us."
Cameron, currently promoting his show Going Home with Tyler Cameron on Prime Video, didn't mince words when labeling the couple as "two obstinate elders." Their romance blossomed on ABC last autumn, culminating in a televised wedding in January.
"Gerry and Theresa seem resolute in their ways," Cameron observed. "Gerry refuses to depart from Indiana, tethered to his roots, while Theresa clings to New Jersey. It's a classic case of stubbornness that often comes with age."
In an April 12 appearance on Good Morning America, Turner revealed, "Theresa and I have engaged in heartfelt discussions, scrutinizing our circumstances, including our geographical separation, and we've mutually concluded that it's time to part ways."
The couple cited their unwavering commitment to family as a pivotal factor in their decision. "Our dedication to our respective families has been paramount in our deliberations," Turner shared. "We believe it's in the best interest of our individual happiness to live separately."
Cameron's unfiltered commentary underscores the ripple effect of Turner and Nist's breakup, leaving Bachelor aficionados grappling with the aftermath of a romance that appeared to defy conventional Bachelor norms.
